Safari

Important: this only works in Safari. On iPhone and iPad, Chrome and other browsers don’t have the “Add to Home Screen” option — it’s a system feature Apple only exposes in Safari’s Share menu.

1. Open Safari and go to sidepot.us.
   Type sidepot.us into the address bar and load the website.
2. Log in to your Sidepot account.
   This step is required to receive your 1 FREE SC reward after adding Sidepot to your home screen.
3. Tap the Share icon.
   It’s the square with an arrow pointing up in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen (or at the top on iPad).
4. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen.”
   Scroll through the options in the Share menu until you see Add to Home Screen.
5. Confirm the name and tap “Add.”
   Safari will automatically fill in the name. You can edit it if you’d like, then tap Add in the top-right corner.
6. Find Sidepot on your home screen.
   The Sidepot icon will appear alongside your other apps. Tap it anytime to open Sidepot in full-screen mode.

Chrome

Heads up: on some Android devices the option below is labeled “Install app” instead of “Add to Home screen” — they both do the same thing.

1. Open Chrome and go to sidepot.us.
   Type sidepot.us into the address bar and load the website.
2. Log in to your Sidepot account.
   This step is required to receive your 1 FREE SC reward after installing Sidepot on your home screen.
3. Tap the three-dot menu.
   It’s located in the top-right corner of Chrome, next to the address bar.
4. Tap “Add to Home screen” or “Install app.”
   The option may vary depending on your Android device. Tap the available option to install Sidepot.
5. Confirm the installation.
   Follow the prompts and tap Add or Install when asked.
6. Find Sidepot on your home screen.
   The Sidepot icon will appear on your home screen or in your app drawer. Tap it to launch Sidepot in full-screen mode.

Common questions

• I don’t see “Add to Home Screen.”

  Make sure you’re using Safari or Chrome and that it’s updated to the latest version.

• The icon didn’t show up after I tapped “Add.”

  Check other home screen pages by swiping left or right, or search for “Sidepot” in your app drawer (Android). It’s added alongside your other apps, not necessarily on the first screen.

• Do I need to log in again after adding it?

  No — the home screen icon opens the same Sidepot site you were using in your browser, so your session carries over as usual.

• How do I remove it later?

  Press and hold the Sidepot icon on your home screen, then choose Remove App / Uninstall. This only removes the shortcut — it doesn’t affect your Sidepot account.
